H T-N: Dispute over dog leads to Hendersonville shooting

A gunshot meant to scare off a trespassing dog incited a brawl between neighbors that led to a shooting along Osceola Lake Wednesday morning, police said, and two people were transported to the hospital.

First responders were called to 63 Louisiana Ave. after an assault led to a reported head injury around 11 a.m. Minutes later, one of the neighbors transporting a man with a gunshot wound to the hospital flagged down an ambulance near the corner of Justice Street and Third Avenue.
