H T-N: Filmmakers highlight mountain music in documentary

A documentary about mountain music by a filmmaking couple from Henderson County will debut Jan. 29 on North Carolina public television, featuring four-time Grammy winning musician David Holt and opening with a shot on Bearwallow Mountain.

Called “David Holt’s State of Music,” the hour-long documentary by filmmakers and photographers Will and Deni McInytre airs at 10 p.m. on UNC-TV and will run over the next three years on the PBS station. And there are plans for serialization.
