Hands On! Children’s Museum continues Nature Nuts initiative

Thanks to generous support received from Hendersonville Pediatrics, Hands On! Children’s Museum is pleased to announce the continuation of its Nature Nuts initiative for the Fall 2018 Season. Nature Nuts is an eight week series of nature walks for families with young children. Led by museum staff, the program initiative teaches children about the importance of environmental stewardship. “Hands On! is committed to inspiring young children to acquire an appreciation of our natural world through the Nature Nuts initiative. Nature walks take place along the beautiful Oklawaha Greenway in Hendersonville, and we’re pleased to continue our partnership with Hendersonville Pediatrics to offer this experience to our community for FREE,” said Joseph Knight, the museum’s Executive Director.

Nature Nuts occurs on Wednesdays from 11am – 12pm during the months of October and November. Advance registration is not required, and participants should meet at the parking lot located at 415 Berkeley Road in Hendersonville to participate. Hands On! Children’s Museum is located at 318 North Main Street in historic downtown Hendersonville, NC. Museum Hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 5pm. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
