Hatch AVL hosts JustKibbitz launch party Tuesday, Sept. 29

Press release from Hatch AVL:

Join the Hatch family next Tuesday, September 29 at 8:00 PM to celebrate the launch of Hatch-supported company JustKibbitz.

What is JustKibbitz, you ask?

JustKibbitz is an online dating platform that allows Jewish moms to be digital matchmakers for their adult children.

Just over 2 years ago, two Anthroware employees came up with a new angle on dating sites and called it Oogum. Through Hatch Demo Day, a rigorous day-long mentorship, team building, accelerator and pitch event, this team emerged with a data-backed and tested business.

They rebranded as JustKibbitz and entered Big Scary Fish Tank held by the Asheville Investment Club in September 2019 to pitch a dating app that helps someone you love find someone they love. JustKibbitz was awarded a seed investment that night and spent the better part of a year building, testing, tweaking, marketing, branding, and shvitzing.

Finally, JustKibbitz is going live! We invite you to join us as we toast this team and encourage them toward their next milestones.

At this online event, you’ll hear from Hatch members and JustKibbitz founders and see the premier of their promo video “Eggplant”. By attending, you’ll also get a free year of membership on the JustKibbitz website.
