Free community event gets kids moving and learning.

WHAT: Healthy Kids Day is a free community event to inspire more kids to keep their minds and bodies active.

WHEN: Saturday, April 21, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

WHERE: YMCA Youth Services, 201 Beaverdam Rd., Asheville, NC

HIGHLIGHTS: Healthy food; inflatables; face painting; music; giant swing; yard games;Zumba for kids; Westridge CrossFit demo; community vendors.

MORE: Healthy Kids Day will take place at more than 1,500 YMCAs across the country on April 21, including the Corpening Memorial YMCA in Marion and Hendersonville Family YMCA.
