Hearing Loss Association of America to hold annual meeting Nov. 6

Press release from the Hearing Loss Association of America:

There will be a very brief Annual General Meeting before the Technology Expo on Nov. 6.

We need to cover a few issues:

We are looking for additional volunteers; you don’t have to be a member of HLAA to volunteer, although we certainly encourage you to join.  One of our chapter members, who has been dealing with literature, is stepping down soon, and we would like to encourage you to volunteer to take over her duties if you’re interested.

There are five current Steering Committee officers, and these officers are willing to continue their duties through 2020 unless other members wish to be considered for election.  If you would like to be considered, please let us know as soon as possible.

We greatly value your input, and would like to encourage you let us know which programs you would like repeated, and what new topics you would like to have presented at chapter meetings in the future.

Finally, even if you do not plan to attend the meeting on Wednesday, please let us know if you’re interested in volunteering or if you have any ideas or suggestions about what topics you’d like to see discussed in future chapter meetings. You can send your comments to us our email address: hlasheville@gmail.com
