Hendersonville, N.C. (November 5, 2012) – Krishna Das, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., has been named for the third year in a row as one of the Best Doctors in America by Best Doctors, Inc. Only 5 percent of physicians in the United States are selected for this list after an impartial, peer-reviewed survey of tens of thousands of doctors nationwide. Best Doctors, Inc., was created by Harvard Medical School in 1989 as a resource through which the best minds in medicine can collaborate. Best Doctors’ ultimate purpose is to help patients and their treating physicians arrive at the best possible diagnosis and treatment. Doctors cannot pay to be considered for this recognition, nor can they nominate or vote for themselves.
Dr. Das, of Hendersonville OB/GYN, is board-certified by and a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She attended medical school at Indiana University and completed her residency at Methodist Hospital Graduate Center in Indianapolis, Ind. Dr. Das, a retired Army Colonel, has practiced in her field for more than 20 years and specializes in gynecology and urogynecology. She is a nationally recognized expert in mentoring physicians who are seeking and maintaining board certification. Dr. Das is also course director for America’s OB/GYN Board Review Course.
