Historic Johnson Farm seeks volunteers

Historic Johnson Farm is looking for volunteers! Volunteer Training will be on Wednesday, May 22 at 11:00 AM at the farm at 3346 Haywood Road, Hendersonville, NC .  There is something for everyone – whether you want to give tours, help with field trips, or work on the grounds and gardens.  For more information, call the Farm Manager at 891-6585, or visit facebook.com/HistoricJohnsonFarm/ .  The farm is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and features 10 historic buildings, 15 acres and animals.  The farm was given to the schoolchildren and community of Henderson County Public Schools by the late Vernon and Leander Johnson.
