Illegal dumping ground found near Burnette Reservoir

From Black Mountain News:

The verdant valley that provides the region’s drinking water is also serving as an illegal dumping ground.

Some North Fork valley residents say around 4,000 pounds of construction debris were dumped on their property just south of Asheville’s Burnette Reservoir over May 23-25. The debris – almost entirely roofing shingles – was left a few miles outside city property and didn’t affect the water supply.
