Ingles International Children’s Day Festival, April 29

Press release from Hola Community Arts:

The 20th Annual Ingles International Children’s Day Festival is Sunday, April 29th, noon to 6pm at Jackson Park, Hendersonville. The event is FREE to the public.

This multicultural event is an International holiday observed across the globe, designed to respect children’s personalities and to celebrate their happiness.

New this year, children and adults will enjoy Dr. Bronner’s All-One Magic Foam Experience, a novel, ecological and exhilarating foam “shower” that covers you in foam and leaves you feeling refreshed and tingly-clean. Also, returning are the adorable and athletic – Ultimate Air Dogs. The high-flying canines will test their skills in a 90’ pool. Ultimate Air Dogs is the country’s premiere dock jumping organization and features both novice competitors and seasoned jumpers.

Families will enjoy live entertainment, inflatables, kids raffles, cultural dance demonstrations and delicious food from around the World. The event gives local small businesses the opportunity to promote their services and products. In addition, various agencies and community service providers will offer vital information about community resources.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Ingles International Children’s Day Festival. It all started as a small family picnic in the park. Now, the one day event hosts thousands of people of all ages. Ingles International Children’s Day Festival is produced by Hola Community Arts with support from sponsors, vendors and volunteers.
