Ingles Kids Pantry aims to feed thousands

Press release from ABCCM:

Ingles Markets, IHeartMedia, WLOS, and ABCCM created the Ingles Kids Pantry to feed thousands of children in Buncombe County whose families need help supplying enough food at home.  Join us in making a difference.  All Buncombe County Ingles Markets will have special Ingles Kids Pantry areas.  Purchase and place nutritious non-perishable foods in the Ingles Kids Pantry boxes located at the front of the store.  Everyone in the area can also donate during the Ingles Kids Pantry special event at the 29 Tunnel Road Store from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 9th.  WLOS, 570WWNC, Rock 104.3 and others will be broadcasting throughout the day from the Tunnel Road Ingles.  ABCCM volunteers and others will load an Ingles Tractor Trailer with all the food collected.  The food you donate will then be sorted, boxed, and delivered to schools throughout Buncombe County to directly feed thousands of children and their families struggling with food insecurity when school is not in session.  You can also greatly help through monetary donations to https://www.abccm.org/ingles-kids-pantry.   100% of your donation will go to purchase food for this worthy cause.  Come and fill the Ingles Kids Pantry with food and hope for thousands of school-aged children and families in Buncombe County.
