Jackson County Democratic Party hosts Aug. 26 roundtable on foster care

Press release from the Issues Roundtable of the Jackson County Democratic Party:

“Kids in Care: Foster Care in Jackson County,” an Issues Roundtable Forum, will be held Monday, Aug. 26, 6:30-8:00 p.m., at 500 Mill Street, Downtown Sylva (JCDP Headquarters). Three guests will present current information about the children in Jackson County’s Foster Care. Featured are: Mary Holliday, Attorney for the Dept. of Social Services; Ople Austin-Smith, Dept. of Social Services; and Shannon Cowan, Guardians ad Litem. Q&A will follow.
