COUNCIL SEEKS FRIEND OF THE RIVER SPONSORS
Each year Land-of-Sky Regional Council sponsors the Friends of the River Dinner. Its purpose is to recognize the valuable contribution that many organizations and individuals make to improve the French Broad River and its tributaries. This year’s event will take place at 6:00 pm on September 11, 2013 at the North Carolina Arboretum.
The Council is seeking sponsors for this year’s event. The $300.00 or $500.00 sponsorships will assist in defraying the cost of the event and theFriends of the River Awards that will be presented to individuals and/or organizations who have performed outstanding environmental work in the preservation of the French Broad River and its tributaries. Each sponsor receives two complimentary dinners. The Dinner typically draws 75 to 150 persons and sponsor logos will be prominently displayed. More sponsorship level benefits at friendsoftheriver.wordpress.com. Additionally, there will be table space available for printed material.
