Press release

From ExchangeTree.org:

Asheville, NC – Local bartering website, ExchangeTree.org, announces launch! The online network is now open to people in Asheville and free to sign up and use.

On ExchangeTree.org, members create personal profiles, list the goods, services and teachings they have to offer and exchange with other members. References members leave for each other are visible to the entire ExchangeTree community, insuring the credibility and accountability of each member.  Join the ExchangeTree founder and volunteers this Saturday, April 12th at 1pm in Aston park (on Hilliard Ave) for a picnic potluck to learn more about ExchangeTree and meet other members.

“ExchangeTree is awesome” says Brad, a local member and bread baker who recently registered.  “So far I’ve gotten local duck eggs, chicken eggs and bow drilling lessons, and I got to meet some great people I wouldn’t have crossed paths with otherwise. I’m really psyched about this and have a lot of plans for it.”

To sign up, simply visit ExchangeTree.org and create an account. For any questions, contact julie@exchangetree.org. No sign up needed to attend the event.
