LPGA tour player Austin Ernst moves charity golf tourney to The Cliffs

Ernst and nine LPGA Tour Players tee off to benefit Safe Harbor

ARDEN, N.C., July 27, 2016 – The Cliffs, a collection of seven private luxury mountain and lake clubs and communities in the western Carolinas, will host LPGA Tour Player Austin Ernst’s annual one-day Pro-Am Charity Tournament benefitting Safe Harbor on August 8 at The Cliffs.

Now in its third year, Ernst is moving her tournament to The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards, an eighteen-hole Tom Fazio signature course design. Ernst stated, “My relationship with the Cliffs and their seven communities was the main factor in moving my event. We look forward to playing a championship golf course in the Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards and showcasing the beautiful views of Lake Keowee.”

Joining Ernst in the tournament will be LPGA Players Michelle Wie, Morgan Pressel, Marina Alex, Amy Anderson, Jessica Korda, Brittany Lang, Alison Lee, Ashlan Ramsey, Jodi Ewart Shadoffand. The tournament will take place at The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards located on Lake Keowee in Sunset, S.C. and benefit the local organization Safe Harbor whose mission is to provide a continuum of services for victims of domestic violence and their children.

Ernst’s annual one-day Pro-am Charity Tournament is a private event for those playing in the tournament and is closed to public spectators.
