Luella’s backs marching band fundraiser

Press release from Luella’s BBQ:

Luella’s BBQ will be supporting the Asheville High School Marching Band with a special fundraiser at this week’s football game versus A.C. Reynolds High School (Friday, September 30).

From 5pm through halftime, Luella’s will be smoking and serving BBQ at the Asheville High School football stadium. A generous portion of the proceeds are being donated by Luella’s to the Asheville High School Marching Band. Meals cost $10, and can be purchased at the game or from AHS Marching Band members in advance.

This is part of a series of annual fundraisers that helps cover the costs of participating in and traveling to competitions and away games. The Asheville High School Marching Band is made up of 160 students from Asheville High School and the School of Inquiry and Life Sciences at Asheville (SILSA).
