Lunch and Learn fashion show and presentation, Sept. 19

Learn about Coco Chanel, French fashion and The Locker (a professional clothing closet that provides business attire to AB Tech students preparing for interviews). The Saturday, Dept. 19 event takes place at MetroWines.

MetroWines partners with The Grovewood Gallery to present a “Lunch and
Learn Fashion Show on Saturday, September 19th from 11:30 to 1pm
@MetroWines.

The event starts with a presentation by Allison Weems of The Asheville
French School on Coco Chanel, a French wine tasting hosted by The Asheville
School of Wine, followed by a light lunch from Gan Shan Station on
Charlotte Street, and a presentation of wearable art and accessories from
The Grovewood Gallery with commentary on French Fashion Basics. *Participants
are asked to wear basic black that we can style.*

A door prize awaits. Grovewood Gallery has generously donated a $50 gift
certificate to redeem at their most amazing shop!

We will also be collecting gently worn clothing on this day to benefit *”The
Locker,”* a professional clothing closet that offers business attire free
of charge to AB Tech students in the Asheville community preparing for
interviews. Sponsored by AB Tech, “The Locker” includes an assortment of
seasonal clothing, shoes and accessories for both men and women. Read
