Major General Rick Devereaux to discuss drone warfare at UNCA

Here’s the press release from UNC Asheville:

Major General Rick Devereaux, a former officer in the Air Force, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 1 in UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center.

His talk, “Attack of the Drones: Revolution or Evolution in Warfare?” is co-sponsored by the WNC chapter of the World Affairs Council, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNC Asheville, and the university’s Department of Political Science.

Devereaux, who now serves as a defense industry consultant, will bring his military officer’s perspective to the discussion of these weapons and how they are changing warfare.
