Local five-piece jam band Makayan (Dennis Veazey on lead guitar, Zach Sykes on vocals and guitar, Elie Herzog on bass, Ben New on drums and Simon George on keys) have announced a residency at One Stop (55 College St.) for the month of November. They’ll perform at the venue each Sunday at 8 p.m. “We will be playing an original set and a set of a cover album each night,” says Sykes. They’ll launch the residency on Sunday, Nov. 3, performing Abbey Road with special guests Donnie Dies.
