Man airlifted to Mission after horseback riding accident in Fletcher

According to WLOS-TV A man had to be airlifted to the hospital after a horse riding accident in Fletcher. Emergency crews were called out to Six Oaks Ranch on River Cane road around four Monday afternoon.

First responders said the horse the man was riding reared up, he fell off and then the horse landed on top of him. News 13 was told the owner of the property had given the man premission to come and ride. Emergency officials said his injuries were so bad that a helicopter was used to transport the man to Mission’s Trauma Unit. There is no word on the man’s condition.
