Manheimer to meet with Asheville restaurateurs

Press release:

Asheville Mayor Esther Manheimer is scheduled to meet with area restaurateurs later this month during a casual networking event to learn more about the city’s hospitality industry and provide information on the upcoming bond referendum.

The event will give the mayor an opportunity to educate business owners on the upcoming bond referendum, as well as build relationships with restaurant owners and managers. November’s bond referendum includes $74 million that if approved by voters would go toward improving transportation networks, recreation facilities, and affordable housing.

Asheville Kitchen Cabinet, a civic engagement program for the city’s restaurant and hospitality industries that aims to build relationships with local elected officials, organized the event. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 27th at 3pm at The Cantina Biltmore. Restaurateurs who are interested in participating should email aaron@targetedpersuasion.com.
