Mark Meadows wins congressional candidate poll of teenage Republicans

Here’s the press release from the Buncombe County GOP:

RESULTS OF NC-11 GOP CONGRESSIONAL POLL RELEASED BY TEENAGE REPUBLICANS
Contest shows Mark Meadows and his enthusiastic supporters leading the pack of the eight announced candidates

The members of the Asheville-Buncombe Teenage Republicans (ABTAR) are excited to announce the results of the NC-11 web poll that was conducted last week on their website (www.abtar.org). Open for five days during the past week, the poll attracted 1,195 unique votes total. The poll has proven decisive: ABTAR would like to congratulate Mark Meadows, who garnered 41% of the vote in a field of eight candidates — more than enough to win the heavily-contested poll.

This particular poll offered great insight as to the online bases of the candidates and their ability to mobilize their supporters. It was a great illustration of each candidate’s work ethic and dedication; these are values they will need to secure a victory for Republicans in November.
Thus, we offer our recognition to the poll’s winner, Mark Meadows, and runner-up Dan Eichenbaum. Both candidates earned their position through successfully inspiring their supporters to support them in the popular poll.

The web poll was an informative experience and ABTAR looks forward to posting more opinion polls in the future. Thank you to the candidates who participated in the poll, and the community for its strong interest.
