Mary Ellen Wolcott, retired Citizen-Times reporter and lifestyles editor, dies at 94

Mary Ellen Wolcott, a retired Citizen-Times reporter and editor whose career began before World War II and continued into the computer age, died Tuesday at her Asheville home. She was 94.

She spent much of her life in Asheville, becoming a full-time reporter in 1938 for the old Asheville Citizen.
