Asheville City Poets, for lack of a better description, are “amateur” poets that are driven by our muse to give birth to the things we write and seek communion with others devoted to the creative process of putting words down on paper. Our mission is to bring local poets, writers of short prose, and people of the spoken word to the heart of our eclectic village in open readings. We ask only that you RSVP to make it possible to accommodate all who wish to share their work.
