Middle School ultimate frisbee celebration at Memorial Stadium on May 29

Press release from Asheville Ultimate Frisbee Club:

The Asheville Ultimate Frisbee Club (AUC) would like to invite anyone interested in playing Ultimate in the 828 to come to our Middle School Ultimate Celebration at Memorial Stadium on Wednesday, May 29th from 4pm-7:30pm.

The Non-Profit offers programming to students at Asheville Middle School, North Star Academy, Evergreen Community Charter School, Francine Delany, Franklin School of Innovation, IC Imagine, Rainbow Community School, and the Asheville Home School Community. This league is run on a sliding scale from $0-$25 per participants with over 80% on scholarship.

AUC also has a High School league, which saw Asheville High win the regional championship which was held at AC Reynolds on May 11th. AHS also qualified for the State Tournament for the second year in a row.
Adult programming is offered as well. AUC runs Men’s, Women’s, and Co-ed leagues three times a year. In fact, there is still time to sign up for Summer League which will start June 3rd. Please go to https://ashevilleultimate.org/ to learn about opportunities to play Ultimate Frisbee in the region.
