PRESS RELEASE:

Miss North Carolina Plus America Pageant is a plus-size pageant for all ages.

The Miss North Carolina Plus America pageant directors are searching for plus-size talent agent 13 to 100+, to not only participate in the state pageant but to win the National Miss Plus America competition in Dallas.

The Miss North Carolina Plus America pageant is a community service-oriented organization that also teaches body confidence and positivity.

Although there have been several delegates in the past who have represented North Carolina at the national level, this will be the first Miss Plus America preliminary in North Carolina.

Laronda Franklin, executive pageant director, says, “Our goal with the Miss North Carolina Plus America Pageant is to help build self-esteem, confidence and respect. We also want to educate the community as a whole to embrace plus-size women.”

Contestants can submit an application on our website [ncplusamerica.com]. The contestants must live or work in North Carolina. They can be single or married. The pageant is April 22-24 in Raleigh. The deadline to apply is March 1.

Our Teen Ambassador wins a scholarship plus some fees to Nationals; the Miss and Ms. categories win cash prizes and some fees to Nationals.

The pageant is also looking for volunteers, sponsors and donations.

For more information, contact Laronda Franklin at 910-778-4971; 910-339-6675; ncplusamerica@gmail.com or via ncplusamerica.com.
