Mission Health’s Annual Report/Community Investment report released

Mission Health has published its 2016 Annual Report |Community Investment Report. Downloadable at                                                 mission-health.org/communitybenefit, it highlights the needs of communities served by the Asheville-based hospital system, with member hospitals in Highlands-Cashiers, Franklin, Brevard, Spruce Pine and Marion.

The community health and ancillary services needs in Mission’s 18-county service area are being addressed by collaboration with many nonprofit groups, listed in the report. Mission’s community investment funding last year was $1,138, 390, and the total value of Mission’s charity and unreimbursed care was $104,769,000.
