Montford Park Players holds auditions for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

Perhaps the most perfect summer play of all time, Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night Dream” is full of magic, romance and comedic sparring. The Montford Park Players holds auditions on April 18 and 19.

The Montford Park Players, North Carolina’s longest running Shakespeare Festival, is pleased to announce open auditions for its production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  Auditions will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 18 & 19, from 1 – 5 pm at the Asheville Masonic Temple, 80 Broadway Street in downtown Asheville.  Free parking is available at Home Trust Bank, 10 Woodfin Street.

Actors are asked to bring a headshot and resume, if available, and will read from the script.  Backstage crew is also needed and prospective crew members will be interviewed during these times as well.

The production will be directed by long-time Montford director Jason Williams and will open June 12 at the Hazel Robinson Amphitheatre, located at 92 Gay Street in Montford.
