Moras Jeweler Spotlight Series Features Oblik Atelier
Meet the jeweler and enjoy an expanded collection for a limited time

Asheville, NC – Mora is pleased to announce Oblik Atelier as the featured jeweler in its Spotlight Series for the month of June. On Friday, June 9 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Mora is hosting an opening reception for the artist. The event is free, and all are invited to attend.

Oblik Atelier’s jewelry forges an alliance between fashion and art. Each creation is a wearable sculpture thoughtfully designed and hand-produced in Brooklyn, New York. Bold yet elegant, Oblik Atelier’s explorations of shape in metal result in a distinctive aesthetic of flowing lines, architectural forms, and a rhythmic play of positive and negative space.

With its confident scale, minimal ornamentation, and signature high polish, Oblik Atelier’s jewelry commands attention. This editorial appeal has landed Oblik Atelier jewelry in Vogue, Elle, The New York Times, In Style UK, I-D Magazine, and The New York Post, to name a few. The art world is equally enamored — Oblik Atelier creations are regularly exhibited at SOFA Expo, Art Hamptons, Art Palm Beach, Sieraad, and galleries and museums worldwide.

In March, Oblik Atelier launched “The Unity Pin” project to support organizations that are uniting to protect and preserve our civil liberties and freedoms. “The Unity Pin” is available at Mora and all profits are equally distributed to The American Civil Liberties Union, Planned Parenthood, and National Public Radio.

Oblik Atelier’s Creative Director Mia Hebib was born in Bosnia, raised in Croatia, and began her jewelry education at the School for Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb. Hebib moved to the United States in 1996, and in 2001, she received a BFA in metals and jewelry from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Prior design roles include work for Liz Claiborne, Henri Bendel, and BCBGeneration. Hebib is currently a consultant with the iconic American jewelry artist Robert Lee Morris and a mentor at her alma mater, the Savannah College of Art and Design.
