Mountain Spirit Coffee House celebrates 10th anniversary on May 17

Mountain Spirit Coffee House, a concert series held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville, celebrates its 10th anniversary on Sunday, May 17. The special concert, a benefit for programs at the UUCA, features nine musical acts.

Press release from organizers:

Join us for great music, special food and beverages and a plethora of CDs and merchandise from all the talented performers that will participate. This show will be a benefit performance with the musicians graciously donating their time and talent. We are compiling a Mountain Spirit Coffee House CD as well with the help of Chris Rosser, which will also be on sale at the show. Sales of this CD and some beautiful handcrafted coffee mugs will also be allocated to the benefit.

Proceeds from the show will be used to further great programs at UUCA (Unitarian Unitarian Congregation of Asheville) that support the Asheville Community in many ways and also to “LEAF Schools and Streets Programs” to promote music, art and culture to young people in our area.
