Music-oriented talk show launches Sunday, July 21

Asheville Music Today, a live-streamed talk show, launches at http://ashevillemusictoday.com, beginning on Sunday, July 21. “Asheville Music Today is an innovative weekly one-hour live talk show featuring and promoting local music of all genres from Asheville, Western North Carolina and East Tennessee,” says press for the new broadcast. “The show is hosted by national broadcasting veteran Chris Schieman.”

The first installment, beginning at 7 p.m., will feature The Bread and Butter from Asheville and Terina Plyler from Brevard. Upcoming shows will “include live performances of local established acts as well as up and coming musicians.”
