My Sister’s Place launches thrift store to fund haven from domestic violence

My Sister’s Place 

Through education and inspiring community awareness , My Sister’s Place works to end domestic violence and sexual assault and provides safe haven for women and children of Madison County.

Proceeds from sales at our Thrift Shop enable My Sister’s Place to continue to provide emergency shelter, crisis advocacy, support, guidance, empowerment, and education services, free-of-charge, to domestic violence and sexual assault survivors and their children.

My Sister’s Place Thrift Shop is located 25 scenic minutes from Asheville, at 103 So. Main St, Marshall [across from Post Office].  Our volunteer staff sell gently used brand name clothing starting at $1.99 ! Hundreds of items in all sizes to choose from including: kids, juniors, misses, women’s plus, and men’s clothes, footwear and accessories, toys and home goods.

My Sister’s Place Thrift Shop is open Mon-Fri 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sat. 10-2 p.m. 100 percent of all proceeds are used to provide free services to My Sister’s Place clients including emergency housing at our Safe Haven Shelter.
