NCDOT to hold Community Information Workshop on changes to Brevard Road/I-26 interchange

Here’s the information via the WNC Alliance:

NCDOT will host a Community Information Workshop on proposed changes to the Brevard Road/I-26 interchange from 4-7 p.m. April 18 at the N.C. Arboretum.

Please attend to express your views about the importance of incorporating bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure in any reconstructed interchange. Brevard Road is a potential greenway path in the City of Asheville’s greenway plan and this interchange project should not foreclose that option.

When entering the Arboretum grounds, let the attendant know that you are there for a meeting, and the parking fee will be waived.

For more information, contact Michael Wray at (919) 707-6050 or mgwray@ncdot.gov.
