If you work downtown you don’t always have the time or the budget to eat at one of the many eateries that are within walking distance. You set the good intention of bringing in your own lunch every day but that doesn’t always happen either. So as a downtown worker bee myself, I was happy to learn of a new affordable option — simply called Fresh Lunch.
Fresh Lunch is a lunch-delivery business just launched by Pablo and Malena Gomez. Their philosophy is simple: they bake their bread freshly every morning and use only the freshest ingredients available.
Each of their gourmet menu items is available as a sandwich, wrap or salad. Prices range from $7.59 to $9.89 but the price always includes potato chips and a soda or bottled water. Choose from such tasty options as prosciutto-mozzarella, apple-brie, shaved roast beef, caprese, crunchy apple-tuna salad, healthy turkey and more.
You can place your order Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Delivery is free and there’s no minimum order.
