Noble Cider moving to West Asheville
Company will expand production and open tasting room

September 17, 2014 – Asheville, NC – Noble Cider is pleased to announce that it has purchased a 9000 square foot building at 356 New Leicester Highway in West Asheville to serve as their new home for full-scale hard cider production. The new cidery allows the company to increase their production and distribution of its local, craft hard cider, as well as open a tasting room.

“In order to keep up with the growing demand for hard cider, we had to find a larger location,” said Trevor Baker, co-founder and cidermaker. “Not only will we have the potential to grow indefinitely in our expansive new cidery, we will also have a place where cider enthusiasts and newcomers alike can come experience Noble’s ciders first hand.”

The new location will house an apple processing line, a tasting room, a cider garden, and a future packaging line.

Noble Cider entered the market in 2013 with 2000 gallons (63.5 barrels, 7570 liters) of their signature semi-dry “Standard Bearer.” This year, Noble produced 14,000 gallons (444.5 barrels, 52,995 liters) of hard cider and added two new flavors: “Village Tart,” a hard cider with tart cherry; and “Blue Bard,” hard cider fermented with blueberries and honey.
