North Buncombe public school district on two-hour delay Wednesday morning

Press release from Buncombe County Schools:

Good morning,

It’s Wednesday, December 5.

Due to some early morning precipitation in the higher elevations of our county that has caused some slick spots on roads, the North Buncombe district only will operate on a two-hour delay. Also, no buses on icy roads. The delay will allow drivers to navigate with more daylight today.

Employees should report to work at their normal time if they are able to travel safely. As always, employees who will be arriving to work later than their normal start time must communicate with their principal or supervisor.

Again, the  North Buncombe District only will operate on a two-hour delay today.
