OM Sanctuary to host Richmond Hill Inn estate sale

From the press release from OM Sanctuary:

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (May 2012) — The glamour and intrigue of the Richmond Hill Inn estate is making its final appearance as one cohesive whole. OM Sanctuary, the new owners of the iconic Inn, will be hosting an estate sale Thursday, May 24 – Saturday, May 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The antique and contemporary furnishings, flatware and stemware, and Victorian decor will be sold, spreading the legacy of Richmond Hill throughout the community. This opportunity to take home a piece of history is in turn an investment in the future of the property. In order to serve the Asheville community and beyond as a non-profit holistic education retreat, fundraisers such as the estate sale are essential to OM Sanctuary’s success in these initial developmental stages. The proceeds from the sale will allow OM Sanctuary to attend to deferred maintenance and restoration efforts with a goal to bring back the enchantment to the property that had been strained during the bankruptcy years.

A special room will be dedicated to OM Sanctuary donations and all legacy items that carry the emblematic Richmond Hill Inn logo.
