Online observance for those affected by COVID-19 to be held June 7

Press release:

On Sunday, June 7, 2020, an online service will be held to honor and support local health care workers and families of those affected by COVID-19 in WNC. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the zoom link will be announced on Saturday via the Facebook event page. After the online event, participants will be invited to step outside and ring bells at 7:30 pm to demonstrate solidarity and love. Together we will mourn those who have died, pray for those who are sick, honor those who are working on the frontlines, and comfort all who are worried and weary. The event will include local Christian, Jewish and Native American leadership, local health care workers, and music by David LaMotte.

The event page can be found here.
