CREATION Health Series
Thursdays, June 14 – August 2
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
At The Health Adventure in Biltmore Square Mall
This class series addresses health from a Christian perspective through the following “8 Laws of Health”: Choice, Rest, Environment, Activity, Interpersonal Relationships, Outlook, Nutrition and Trust. Each participant receives a copy of CREATION Health Discovery, a Christian guide to health and harmony.

MemoryCaregivers Network Support Groups
All MemoryCaregiver Network support groups are free and open to anyone caring for a person with memory loss. For further information, contact Mary Donnelly at 828.230.4143.

New Hope Group

Henderson County Stroke/Aphasia Support Group

Support group offered to stroke survivors coping with an aphasia disorder and other individuals diagnosed with aphasia. Caregivers, family and friends are encouraged to participate, as well. Please call Brenda Oakley at 828.687.5261 for more information.

Sleep Solutions
Tuesday, June 19, 6 – 7 p.m.
The Health Adventure
This in-depth workshop by Sleep Expert Meggan Hartman will help parents understand how to establish good sleep habits and a healthy schedule for their babies and themselves. Topics covered in the course include the following:
• Baby sleep needs from 0-12 months
• Helping little ones establish good sleep habits/patterns
• Developmental milestones that impact infant sleep development and how to approach them
• SIDS guidelines and research
• No- and low-cry sleep methods
• Sleep arrangements such as: co-sleeping, room-sharing and crib sleeping
• Night feeds and sleep changes
• Naps

We invite you to explore our new unit while learning about birth options, registration, and services and amenities available at Park Ridge Health. Get all your questions answered about delivering at The Baby Place. We encourage all who plan to deliver at Park Ridge to attend this free class.

***Wellness on Wheels will follow the Henderson County Public Schools inclement weather policy. If Henderson County Public Schools are closed the WOW screening will be cancelled for that day.
