Pisgah-Tuscola football featured on Great American Rivalry Series Sept. 6

The Great American Rivalry Series will highlight the Pisgah and Tuscola rivalry.

WHO: Now in its 16th year, the Great American Rivalry SeriesĀ® celebrates the passion of high school football. The Pisgah and Tuscola rivalry has been selected as one of the 100 best high school rivalries to be featured this year.

WHAT: The Tuscola Mountaineers will host the Pisgah Bears for the rivalry football game. The Great American Rivalry Series will recognize an MVP and give a college scholarship to a senior Scholar-Athlete from each team. The winning team will receive the Great American Rivalry Series Championship trophy, presented by the United States Marine Corps, the official game sponsor.

WHEN: Friday, Sept. 6. Kickoff takes place at 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: CE Weatherby Stadium, 495 Brown Avenue, Waynesville NC 28786

WHY: The Great American Rivalry Series will showcase this historic local rivalry in a thrilling celebration, uniting the community and honoring athletic excellence.
