Pizza Pan-Demonium to benefit Eblen Charities May 17

Another fun food competition is coming to Asheville and gourmet pizza is the buzz. There are few combinations better than great pizza with great beer. Highland Brewery is hosting Pizza Pan-Demonium May 17th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. along with celebrity judges, jammin’ local bands and Sarah Merrell’s Biker Babe Fashion Show with apparel from MR Motorcycle.

Bioflyer Productions is celebrating its 10 year anniversary by mounting fun and unique events all over Western North Carolina. From Broadway musicals to talent slams, promoter Rock Eblen has made Bioflyer a huge successful fundraising vehicle for his family’s local service organization, Eblen Charities.

With Asheville becoming a national food and brew destination it only makes sense for local pizza companies to show off their best slices with both judge and audience voting for prizes in three categories: 1) Best Meat Combo, 2) Best Veggie Combo and 3) People’s Choice. Come hang out with celebrity judges Tony Kiss (Citizen-Times) Jeff Messer (iHeart Radio) and Gina Smith (Mtn Xpress).

These great restaurants have already signed on: All Souls, Brixx, Del Vecchios, Favilla’s, Frank’s Roman Pizza, Mellow Mushroom, Nona Mia, Strada and more to come. This is a family friendly event with faceprinting, balloon critters, and other activities for kids and teens.

Tickets for “Pizza Pan-Demonium!” are $25/$20 advance and include free pizza, beer, wine, soft drinks and entertainment. Kids under age 12 are $5 and teens are $10 at the door. Proceeds benefit Eblen Charities.
