Planning board backs Riceville project

Here’s an excerpt from the Asheville Citizen-Times article:

On unanimous votes, the Buncombe County Planning Board this morning approved the master plan for the proposed Old Coggins Farm development in Riceville and recommended approval of a rezoning requested by developers.

The development would include 382 homes, a restaurant, bed and breakfast, retail space, offices, a school and community gardens. It would be located on a 169-acre tract on Old Farm School Road, not far from Warren Wilson College.
