Progress NC Action to hold Asheville town hall on Mueller report March 27

Press release from Progress NC Action:

A strong majority of North Carolinians want to see the entire Mueller report on questions of Russian interference with the 2016 US election. People want to know if there was any wrongdoing by Trump and his associates. The only way that the American public will trust the conclusions of the Mueller investigation is if the report is made public.

You are invited to join us for a town hall meeting at First Congregational UCC in Asheville next Wednesday, March 27 at 6:00 p.m. We will share information about the Mueller investigation and how you can help pressure the U.S. Department of Justice and Congress to do the right thing and make the Mueller report public.

WHAT:  “MAKE IT PUBLIC!” – Get Ready for the Mueller Report – The Asheville Town Hall

The Mueller investigation is winding down. Special Counsel Robert Mueller will deliver a final report to Trump’s Attorney General William Barr. Barr will decide how much information will be shared with Congress and by extension to the American people.  The decision is left to Trump’s hand-picked attorney general, unless Congress acts. The U.S. House has already voted 420 to 0 to release the report, but now the Senate refuses to vote on the measure. The report and its findings are crucial to our democracy and critical to holding the powerful accountable. Americans have the right to the truth and the whole truth. The public has a right to see the Mueller report. We need to MAKE IT PUBLIC.
