Pure Classical Pilates Studio celebrates Pilates Give Back Day

Here’s the press release from Pure Pilates Studio:

Pure Pilates Studio, a classical Pilates certification, continuing education center, and TRX Suspension Training facility, celebrates Pilates Give Back Day by offering the community a free day of Pilates, Wellness and TRX. The studio is located at 59 Charlotte Street in downtown Asheville.

Pilates Give Back Day is a national event where Pilates studios and instructors give back to the community by offering a free day of classes and sessions. PURE will be offering an Open House from 9am to 2pm on Saturday, April 27, 2013 with Pilates, TRX and mini private sessions every half hour. In addition, PURE wellness will offer massage and acupuncture free to the public. All activities are free of charge, on a first come, first served basis.

Penelope Wyer Barrow, a nationally recognized Pilates instructor, opened Pure in 2012 as a classical Pilates studio dedicated to the perpetuation of the authentic Joseph Pilates method. The studio utilizes only Gratz equipment, the original manufacturer of Pilates equipment. In addition, PURE offers certified TRX Training, a suspension training program designed by a Navy Seals as a revolutionary method of leveraged body-weight exercises for teammates to stay in peak physical condition.

“The Asheville community has embraced PURE and we are happy to give back to the community with this free open house as our way of saying thank you” says Barrow in response to the national event recognized by PURE.
