Reuter Center Singers concert set for Sunday, Feb. 24

The Reuter Center Singers’ next concert takes place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at the Kenilworth Presbyterian Church, 123 Kenilworth Rd., in Asheville.

The Reuter Center Singers, a community choir directed by Chuck Taft and based at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNC Asheville, will offer a varied musical program including choral arrangements of “When the Saints Go Marching In,” “How Can I Keep from Singing,” “Purple Summer” from the musical “Spring Awakening,” and more.

The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be collected to benefit Loving Food Resources, which provides food and personal care to people suffering from HIV/AIDS.
