Sankofa Market AVL announces biweekly events at the YMI

Press release from Sankofa Market AVL:

Sankofa Market AVL announces its biweekly events located at the YMI Cultural Center’s – Impact Center 39 South Market Street, 28801.

Sankofa Market AVL is a platform for Black-Owned Businesses in Asheville to have a safe place to showcase their arts, services, products and, most importantly – build social cohesiveness within our community. Our vendors are local mothers, grandmothers, aunties, and uncles working to increase their visibility, build their networks, and increase their business capital. Many of our vendors have dreams of owning a space to house their businesses and create general wealth for their families.

“I just wanted to create a safe place for small black business owners and black entrepreneurs to showcase their goods and services. Please help Us to invite people to Come Out for a nice Stroll on the Block and Support Asheville’s Local Black Businesses,” says Nnweyna Smith, Founder and Co-Chair.
