5:30-7:30 pm
COLBURN MUSEUM IN PACK PLACE, DOWNTOWN ASHEVILLE

Ready to kick your weekend off with something different? Join us at Colburn Earth Science Museum for informal and lively science discussion while enjoying your favorite local beverage. Science pubs are great ways to increase your knowledge, get answers for those provocative questions, and raise your fun quotient.

Colburn’s science pubs combine science expertise with the intimate pub atmosphere and a special Asheville twist—the museum experience. The last Friday of the month, the Colburn hosts Beer City Science at the Museum. Each month will feature cutting-edge and offbeat discussions, special museum tours, and seldom seen treasures from the Colburn’s vault.

From the outer reaches of space to the inner workings of the mind, from the ancient science of astrology to the future of robotics, Beer City Science will cover it all.

Quench your thirst and feed your head!

Free to the public.

Donations gladly accepted to support Colburn Earth Science Museum programming.
