UPDATE: Sheriff’s Office attempting to locate missing woman from Weaverville area

Mrs. Mann has been located and is OK.

Original press release from Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office:

(January 5, 2022) –The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate a woman from the Weaverville area. Melinda “Mindy” Mann is a 49-year-old female, approximately 5’ 1” and 230 pounds with blue hair and brown eyes. Mrs. Mann was last seen on January 4th around 7 a.m. at her residence in Weaverville. She has potential medical issues and it is unknown if she has access to the medication she will need.

Anyone with information about the location of Melinda Mann is asked to contact the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 250-6670 or submit a tip via the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office app, which can be downloaded in the Apple or Google Play stores.
