Sheriff’s office looking for suspects wanted in armed robbery

Press Release from Buncombe County Sheriff:

Detectives with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office are attempting to locate Darius Deandre Holloway, age 21, and Tommie Lee Holloway Jr. age 26, on numerous charges related to armed robberies.

On September 22, Deputies from the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery in the Leicester area. As a result of this ongoing investigation, Detectives from the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office have charged Darius Deandre Holloway with the following:

Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon
Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon

Suspects were also found to be the suspects of an armed robbery that occurred on July 25, 2021, in the Candler Community. As a result of that investigation, Detectives with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office have charged both Darius Deandre Holloway and Tommie Lee Holloway Jr. with:

Detectives are requesting any information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects. Please notify the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office by calling (828) 250-6670 or submitting a tip via the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office app, which can be downloaded in the Apple or Google Play stores.
