April 3… “The Legacy of CTI Records” Using top jazz and studio players, mixing stylish, sometimes lavish arrangements with stunning artwork, Creed Taylor’s record label created a timeless product. The Spinterview captures great tracks and keen insights from CTI stalwarts such as George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Airto, Bernard Purdie, Billy Cobham, and producer Creed Taylor himself.

The Spinterview is a live mash-up prepared by Robin Tolleson, internationally published music journalist (Downbeat, Billboard, Musician, Modern Drummer, Guitar Player, Bass Player, Wind Player, Mix, Strings) DJ, and drummer. The Spinterview features rare and classic vinyl from your host’s collection, and sound bites from his interviews with some of the finest musicians in the world, all mixed and presented in real time.
